The food on our journeys is purely vegetarian. We believe that becoming a vegetarian is helping to keep our planet from destruction and also keeping our conscious clean from causing suffering to animals or practicing "ahimsa" - non-violence according to Vedic perspective. 
That is why our cooking courses offer exclusively vegetarian cuisine.
In the past the great persons had eaten only food, which will improve their health and will make their life longer. This food consists of dairy products, sugar, rice, wheat, fruits and vegetables. The milk, which contains animal fats, is one of the most marvelous products. The milk, butter and cheese give us animal fats in a form without killing the animals. From Vedic point of view, vegetarianism is not only nutrition system; it is a way of life and philosophy for those who aspire for spiritual perfection. 
But no matter what is the goal of our life - to achieve the spiritual perfection or just to develop in ourselves the habit of pure and healthy nutrition, if we start to follow the directions of the Vedas, we will become happier and will stop to make other living entities in our world to suffer without any sense.
According to ancient wisdom the food influences not only the physical state of a person but also his intellectual abilities and spiritual qualities.
